Marine Biomedical wins $1.5mil in state and federal grants

In March 2022, The Hon Alannah MacTienan MLC announced that Marine Biomedical was successful in receiving a Regional Economic Development (RED) grant from the Western Australian Government, supported by the Kimberley Development Commission, to contribute towards the establishment of the cleanroom and processing facility in Broome. Additionally, in April also this year, Marine Biomedical was again a successful recipient of a matched funds grant provided through the Australian Government’s Northern Australia Development Program- Business Development Grant Scheme.

The company wishes to acknowledge its appreciation to the Australian Government, and in particular the Hon. David Littleproud MP for supporting Marine Biomedical’s application in gaining regulatory approval and manufacturing capability for PearlBone™ in Broome.
